These 2 hill ranges become one at the northmost purpose of the upazila and that they widen apart as they proceed southward. there's no specific geographical place within the upazila referred to as Fatikchhari, rather the complete upazila takes its name from one tiny all-season rill called Fatikchhari Khal that originates within the Sitakund Hills on the West and enters the Upazila at Bhujpur Union before connection the stream Halda, the longest stream in Fatikchhari Upazila that runs through the upazila on nearly its entire length. Dhurung is its second longest stream.
